Our story: we love small towns
When I was in 5th grade, my family moved from Fort Worth to the small town of Cooper, Texas, and I quickly fell in love with small-town life. Friday night lights, festivals on the town square, and a church on every corner.
In junior high, my summers were spent riding bikes around town with friends. When the Texas heat got to us, we'd cool off at Miller's Pharmacy with old-fashioned milkshakes, root beer floats, and the occasional purple cow.
Small towns are special places. They're built on community, relationships, and local businesses that have served generations.
Many small towns across Texas are growing, and growth brings change. Chain restaurants and big-box stores move in, and new neighbors don't always know the local businesses that have been there all along. Without a strong online presence, those family-owned businesses can easily get overlooked.
That's why I started Backroads Digital: to help small-town businesses get seen online, connect with new customers, and keep serving their communities for years to come.

Meet Trevor Williams, the owner
Trevor has been running social media for churches since 2012, long before Backroads Digital had a name. He's Google certified in Digital Marketing and E-commerce, holds a bachelor's (2016) and a master's (2021), and grew up in Cooper, Texas. He started Backroads Digital to give small-town businesses the same online tools the big companies use.
